The most robust Hawthorne available, this large evergreen shrub is good for screening or as a small tree. New foliage is bright and bronze, and it showcases dark pink, fragrant blooms from spring to summer.
Water before planting.
Dig hold 2X the width of pot.
Plant 1-2” above ground soil level, backfill hole with soil.
Water and add more soil if needed.
Mulch 1-2” deep around plant, avoiding area closest to stem.
