This cross of Camellia japonica with sasanqua brings you the best of two worlds -- the semi-weeping habit pleases those who find japonicas too stiff and stodgy in the landscape. Red, bell-shaped flowers with white edges bloom autumn through Christmas.
Water before planting.
Dig hole 2X the width of pot.
Plant 1-2” above ground soil level, backfill hole with soil.
Water and add more soil if needed.
Mulch 1-2” deep around plant, avoiding area closest to stem.
